Play Mode Menu

This menu is displayed when the currently open tab is in Play Mode.

Load a previously saved game into current tab. The file has the extension .gam. It is an xml file, that contains the level identity and any moves made.
Save the game in current tab. The file has the extension .gam. It is an xml file, that contains the level identity and any moves made.
Enter Edit Mode in the current tab. In edit mode you can create your own level collections.
Enter the player name. The name is saved in the database and displayed in the Scoreboard.
Change current players name. Scores for current player will also be changed to the new name. Changing name to a player in the list, will merge current name into the new name and scores will be from both players.
Refreshes the list of files. Useful in case you have added, renamed or deleted files in the Levels, OwnLevels or Skin folder.
Copy the currently open level into the clipboard.
Paste a level from the clipboard.
Exit the game. Any unsaved data will automatically be saved first.
Undo a previously made move. There is unlimited undo. A complex move, like a drag and drop (called a session) is undone.
Redo a previously undone move. There is unlimited redo. A complex move, like a drag and drop (called a session) is redone.
Set the cursor at current position. The cursor shows in the navigation bar as a yellow tick mark. See also Export selected moves.
All moves between current position and the cursor are exported to the clipboard as a LuRd string.
Import LuRd moves from the clipboard. Moves will be executed from current position as if they where made manually
Restart the current level. All moves made are cleared.
Change to the next level. The definition of Next is controlled by a number of options. Such as which files are selected (with a green bullet). All or unsolved levels only. Play levels sequentially or randomly.
Change to the previous level. The definition of Previous is controlled by a number of options. Such as which files are selected (with a green bullet). All or unsolved levels only. Play levels sequentially or randomly.
Start playing the next music file. MP3 and Midi-files are found in the Music folder.
Toggle the playing of music on or off.
Toggle sound effects on or off. Different types of sound effects can be controlled separately in the Options dialog.
Open a dialog for selecting skin file and setting the size of the skin.
Toggle the showing of possible moves symbol on or off. When this function is on, clicking the man, shows all possible positions the man can reach. Clicking a ball, shows all positions this ball can be pushed to.
Opens a dialog for setting various game options. The dialog is tabbed, with tabs named Levels, View, Game & Sound, Internet and Folders. More about options here.
Open the level browser. It shows all levels in the currently open file in small format. Click a level in the browser to open it in the main window. In edit mode it is possible to rearrange levels in the file.
Open the scoreboard. It shows the scores for the currently open level. Solutions can be loaded and played in the main window. Solutions can also be imported and exported in LuRd format.
Select which tool bars to show. The tool bars can be rearranged on the toolbar area.
Increase the size of skin images.
Decrease the size of skin images.
Show the description for the currently open level.
Start the Live Update function and search for new or updated levels, skins and programs.
Start the Skin Tool application to create new Sokoban skins.
Backup the database and restore it from a backup. Change options for automatic backup.
Open a dialog and start a score purge operation. Redundant scores will be removed.
Import scores and solutions. There are three types of import.
Export current settings to a file. This is useful for trouble shooting. Whenever you report a problem, please include this file.
Export all solutions in current collection to a file. This file is useful when publishing your own level collection. This function is only enabled when all levels in the collection has been solved.
Use this function to synchronize scores between different installations of Sokoban. It imports and merges scores and solutions from a selected folder.

Here you enter the registration information. After registration, you will receive an email with registration info. Select and copy this info into the clipboard, before opening this dialog.
Opens the registration site in your browser.
